Hola! My name is Meiying Matute, but you can call me Mei. I'm currently a senior at American University and I'm majoring in Graphic Design along with a minor in Studio Art. As an international student who is passionate about all things creative, I'm looking for an internship or job opportunity where I can help bring your design dreams to life!

I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador for all my life, and I came to the U.S. to study and achieve my dreams of becoming a graphic designer and artist. My initial interest in design came from my extensive experience in social media marketing, but my passion has only grown from there. I'm proficient in design, studio art, photography, and videography, so feel free to check out my other portfolios linked below. I also really enjoy making music and put those skills to use when creating videos and graphics that need background sound! My most important goal is to stay true to my roots, and I draw a lot of design inspiration from my home country, but I love exploring new ideas and aesthetics.
