Hola! My name is Meiying Matute, but you can call me Mei. I'm currently a Social Media & Communications Assistant at Transformer DC, and I'm always on the lookout for more design opportunities! As an immigrant who is passionate about all things creative, I'm looking for an internship or job where I can help bring your design dreams to life!

I was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and I came to the U.S. to study and achieve my goals of becoming a graphic designer and artist. My initial interest in design came from my extensive experience in social media marketing, and my passion has only grown from there. I'm proficient in design, studio art, photography, and videography, so feel free to check out my other portfolios linked below. I also really enjoy making music and put those skills to use when creating videos and graphics that need background sound! My most important goal is to stay true to my roots, and I draw a lot of design inspiration from my home country, but I love exploring new ideas and aesthetics.
